In a scathing critique of President William Ruto’s employment strategy, media personality and comedian Rapcha The Sayantist did not mince words.

Responding to a post by @Kenyans, Rapcha expressed his dissatisfaction with the president’s focus on creating jobs abroad rather than addressing unemployment issues locally.

The post in question quoted Ruto as saying, “If I look for jobs abroad and you refuse to apply, how do you want me to help you?” Rapcha, however, wasn’t swayed by this justification. In a direct jab at the head of state, he questioned Ruto’s priorities and suggested a different approach: “Why can’t you find yourself a job abroad, and let Kenyans elect someone who will create jobs for them at home?”

Rapcha’s criticism resonated with many netizens who echoed his sentiments. One user, @Coll_Odhiambo, criticized the government’s policy of exporting labor, calling it the “most myopic policy any government can have.”

He advocated for creating a conducive environment for Kenyans to invest, create jobs, and contribute to building their country.

The online community rallied behind Rapcha’s outspoken stance. @Makau767318 even went so far as to humorously nominate Rapcha for the presidency, suggesting that he could be a viable candidate to address the country’s employment challenges.
