A man in Ghaziabad was left horrified after purchasing a samosa from a street vendor and discovering a frog’s leg inside.
Aman Sharma, a local resident, was enjoying his evening snack when the shocking discovery ruined his appetite. What was meant to be a quick bite turned into a disturbing experience that quickly went viral on social media.
Aman had bought four samosas from a shop in Bikaner on a Wednesday evening, only to bite into one and notice something strange.
Upon closer inspection, he was horrified to find a frog’s leg inside the samosa. In disbelief, he immediately rushed back to the shop to confront the owner and demand an explanation.
The incident, which was caught on video, shows a distressed Aman angrily questioning the shop owner while a group of concerned onlookers gathered around.
Despite his attempts to get a satisfactory explanation, Aman claimed the shop owner failed to provide any meaningful response. Frustrated and alarmed, he decided to report the matter to the local police.
The incident quickly garnered attention from authorities, with the Ghaziabad food safety department stepping in to investigate.
Under Section 32 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, the shop was issued an improvement notice, and samples were collected for testing.
Narendra Singh, a food safety officer, confirmed that the samples would undergo laboratory testing to determine if there were any violations of food safety standards.
