Kenyan actress and comedian Gloria Nyaboke Moraa and her co-parent Blak Aende are mourning the death of their 19-year-old daughter.
Marrie Achieng, the firstborn of Nyaboke Moraa, passed away under unknown circumstances on Sunday, July 28.
On Monday, the talented actress mourned her daughter in her first social media post since the tragic death.
“Where do I start?” Nyaboke Moraa said on Facebook.
She also posted a memorial video showing her dancing with her late daughter, accompanied by a heart emoji.
On the same day, Moraa’s co-parent, businessman Blak Aende, also mourned the death of their daughter Marrie Achieng.
Blak Aende wrote a brief and emotional tribute to his daughter, saying that Sunday was one of the worst days of his life.
“It’s a dark day. I can’t question God; I leave everything to Him,” Blak Aende wrote on his social media accounts.
He later posted another message showing him on a plane traveling home, captioned, “The hardest flight to take,” accompanied by black heart emojis.
Marrie’s death was announced on Sunday evening by Moraa’s close friend, actress Sandra Dacha.
“It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of @nyabokemoraa’s daughter. Your prayers are what she needs now 🙏🏿 Rest in peace, Marrie😭,” Sandra wrote.
The cause of Marrie’s death has not been disclosed. She was 19 years old at the time of her passing.
