Jalang’o Lookalike Cries Out After Jalang’o Only Gave Out Sh 1k After Meetup

Stanley Mulee Mutisya, a striking lookalike of Lang’ata Member of Parliament (MP) Jalang’o, has expressed disappointment over unfulfilled promises from the MP.

Mutisya first met Jalang’o in November 2021 during an interview on Jalang’o TV, where the MP made a public pledge to transform his life.

However, Mutisya claims that despite this promise, he received only Sh 1,000 after the interview, which left him feeling let down.

In a recent interview, Mutisya recounted how he used the money: Sh 600 went towards a cab, Sh 200 was given to the person who accompanied him, and the remaining Sh 200 covered his journey home.

According to Mutisya, this meager amount did not reflect the significant change he was led to expect from Jalang’o’s promises.

Mutisya shared that his resemblance to the MP is often commented on by others, including his landlord, who regularly jokes about it.

Despite this, he struggles with financial difficulties, particularly paying rent on time. This contrast between his appearance and his circumstances has added to his frustration.

“I only ate his Sh 100,” Mutisya said, highlighting the limited help he received from the MP. He also lamented that his attempts to reach Jalang’o through text messages have largely gone unanswered or received delayed responses.

Mutisya is now questioning whether Jalang’o’s promise to help him was genuine or just part of the content for the show. “If that was part of the content, then he should tell me,” Mutisya concluded
