Isaac Otesa, popularly known as Bungoma Goliath, made headlines after he boarded the famous Mbukinya bus and left Nairobi for his rural home in Bungoma.
His departure, after spending time in the city under the guidance of Manzi Wa Kibera, has sparked mixed reactions.
Some have criticized Manzi Wa Kibera, claiming she failed to manage or support him effectively. However, Chali Wa Kibera has come forward to clear the air and explain why Goliath wa Bungoma returned home.
According to Chali Wa Kibera, Isaac’s decision to leave Nairobi was not due to a lack of support or failed opportunities. Instead, he had pressing family matters to attend to.
Isaac, who is married and a father to a newborn child, needed to return to his wife and one-month-old child in Bungoma.
“Isaac had to go home because he’s a father and husband, and family matters come first. He will be back in Nairobi soon with some great deals that will surprise many,” Chali explained.
Chali further emphasized that Bungoma Goliath’s stay in Nairobi was a success, despite public perception. Isaac received new clothes and shoes from Manzi Wa Kibera, who also helped him engage in social media content creation.
Manzi Wa Kibera, who hosted him during his stay, worked hard to ensure Isaac’s time in the city was productive.
Chali also expressed optimism about Isaac’s future, stating that he will secure deals and grow his brand just as Bradley, another social media sensation, has done.
Addressing concerns from the public, Chali reassured fans that Bungoma Goliath will return to Nairobi soon and that his trip home is just a temporary pause in his journey toward success.
“He’s back home now to see his family, but rest assured, Nairobi hasn’t seen the last of him. Isaac will be back with bigger and better opportunities,” Chali added.
