Kisumu was buzzing on Saturday as Kenyans of all tribes gathered for the homecoming event of former radio presenter Oga Obinna.
The celebration was a grand affair, marking Obinna’s career milestones and featuring a star-studded lineup of performers, including Ohangla maestro Prince Indah, Genge artist Jua Cali, Luo musician Tony Nyadundo, comedians Erick Omondi and Dem Wa Facebook, among other Kenyan celebrities.
The event also attracted prominent politicians, businessmen, and opinion leaders who came to enjoy the electrifying performances by top artists.
However, what truly captured the crowd’s attention was the extravagant display by Money Bior, a businessman rumored to be one of the wealthiest individuals in Kisumu.
As Prince Indah performed his hit song Nyar Jaduong, Bior made a dramatic entrance from his seat, where he’d been enjoying his drinks, and walked directly to the stage.
Armed with bundles of cash, he began showering Prince Indah with bills, creating a spectacle that had security guards scrambling to collect the scattered money.
According to onlookers, Bior threw an estimated Sh100,000 in notes, one after another, sparking awe and excitement among the crowd.

Kenyans quickly took to social media with varied reactions. “Arell Enell” commented, “Some say he has no house in the village. But enjoy your money while you can, hustle hard!”
Another user, “Father Abraham,” humorously suggested, “Grab 5k in 50s, 100s, and 200s for my next show!”
Meanwhile, “moonlight” noted, “Money Bior… last month he even gifted his mother a luxurious house in the village. Luos truly have wealth.”
