WEBUYE POLICE ASSAULT GUARD IN A HOTEL WHILE EFFECTING CURFEW PROTOCOLS.

A private guard is fighting for his life after police in Webuye used excessive force to effect the curfew protocols.
John Wafula, a guard at Mortel was beaten to unconscious level as police tried to break into the hotel .
The colleague said the police who were on civilian were making their way into the Hotel to effect arrests on tip off that there were customers partying.
The area OCPD Valerian Obore was leading the operation.
The guard was then arrested and forcefully taken to the police station amid pain and groaning.


Those who witness the operation said the police used excess force to effect the arrests.
Nzoia Sugar FC players were booked in the Motel , the source divulged.
The guard is said to have been moved to the Webuye District Hospital for medication .
The owner of the Hotel was present Mr Chris Oluoch has launched a complain at the station for abuse of powers of arrest.
