Omar Boga sends stern warning to DP Ruto allies as Msambweni by-election kicks off

ODM candidate for Msambweni by-election Omar Boga has sent a stern warming to Deputy President William Ruto allies ahead of the by election.

Speaking after casting his vote, Bova warned DP Ruto allies against causing chaos in the constituency.

He alleged that earlier in the day some individual tried to cause chaos butnthe situation was controlled.

“It is as if they are looking for my areas of strongholds and causing scenes so that the women in the area will shy away from voting,” Boga said.

He also took the opportunity to encourage members of his constituency to come out in large numbers and vote.

“I already voted at around 8am at Jogoo Primary School and everything is running smoothly. The process is fast and only took me a minute to vote,” he stated.

This comes at a time when Tanga Tanga MPs allege foul pay in the election.

According to Kandara MP Alice Wahome, Msambweni OCPD was handed an emergency transfer, alongside his police officers.

“The PS Interior and Coordination National Gov’t. Tell the country why you have made an emergency transfer of OCPD Bitok of Msambweni and his police officers. Are you planning to mess up with electoral security for by-election tomorrow?” the MP questioned.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also said that top security officers were transfered a night beflre the elections.

“Msambweni top security officers transferred a night before elections meanwhile a team of police officers who have been meeting a Governor in Mombasa are set to take over from to tonight. What is the the motive?” he posed
