Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has taken a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto after the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) concluded the probe against him on the acquisition of his Yatta land on Wednesday 25 August.
The DCI in a letter that has been obtained by the Kenyan Report stated that the Wiper Democratic leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been cleared in the probe on the acquisition of his Yatta land.
The investigative agency sleuths also trashed allegations that the Wiper Leader’s land was grabbed from the National Youth Service (NYS) as earlier alleged by the Second in Command indicating that the parcel of land was bought from Betraco limited.
“The subject property is privately owned by Pastev holdings limited after buying from a company known as Betraco limited… it is therefore established that the property mentioned above is legally owned by Pastev holdings limited,” reads the DCI letter in part.
“The National Youth Service alleged to be the legitimate owners of the subject property categorically stated that they have no bonafide proprietary ownership interest of the same at all,” further reads the letter.
The former vise president has now trained his guns against the Deputy President after the DCI investigation against him, stating that his legal team is exploring other legal remedies that they will pursue against the second in command.
Kalonzo took a swipe at Deputy President as he listed what he alleges that the second in command acquired illegally during his press briefing in Karen.
The Wiper leader called upon Kenyans not to vote for people named in graft cases, noting that the future of the country would be in jeopardy.
“Today the DP owns five high-end helicopters piloted by white captains with an exclusive grabbed hanger at Wilson Airport. The ADC land in Laikipia was grabbed by William Ruto and must revert to the State,” Kalonzo stated.
“He also took a loan at AFC to irregularly obtain land that belonged to the former Vice President… this land is actually village land in Kilgoris. The National Land Commission made a finding that Weston Hotel sits on land belonging to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority,” Kalonzo added.
