Kenyan artist Stivo Simple Boy has made waves in the music industry with his bold statement about collaborating with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz.
The “Ndio Maanake” hitmaker, known for his humble beginnings and unique style, recently revealed that he would only consider working with Diamond if he is paid a hefty fee of KSh 20 million.
Stivo Simple Boy, who has gained popularity for his straightforward lyrics and catchy tunes, stepped out with a new look that caught many by surprise.
Sporting short maroon-dyed hair, a fake goatee, and a cream-colored outfit, the singer made a fashion statement that left fans talking.
He completed his ensemble with blocked white shoes, though they reportedly made moving around at an all-night event a challenge.
In an interview, Stivo expressed his admiration for Diamond Platnumz, referring to himself as Kenya’s version of the Tanzanian music icon.
However, he emphasized that any collaboration with Diamond would come at a high price. “Millioni mbili ama ikae,” Stivo stated, meaning it’s KSh 20 million or nothing.
