Just days after announcing her separation from DJ Mo, her husband of over ten years, Size 8 has shared her thoughts on marriage, comparing it to a business venture.
In an interview with content creator Oga Obinna on his YouTube show, the gospel artist and pastor offered advice to those considering marriage, emphasizing the importance of full commitment.
Size 8 advised against entering marriage with reservations, suggesting that having one foot in and one foot out is what causes many relationships to fail.
“Going into marriage with one foot in and one foot out because you want to be safe is what breaks many relationships,” she stated. She stressed that if someone wants to receive 100% from their partner, they must also be fully committed.
“You can’t expect to get 100% if you’re only partially in. So why demand 100% when you’re only halfway in?” Size 8 questioned.
She further explained that marriage, like business, requires one to dive in completely, hoping for the best outcome.
“If you go in halfway and then say no woman has ever truly loved, it might be because you never fully committed,” she explained.
Size 8 elaborated that you can’t engage in business half-heartedly, and the same applies to relationships.
“It’s like business. Marriage is like business; you go in hoping it works out. You date with 100% commitment; you can’t do business 50-50. If it doesn’t work, you move on to the next venture,” she added.
