Once a celebrated Ohangla musician known for his enticing hits, Boaz Jagingo has reportedly fallen on hard times, now seen wandering the streets of Dandora in a state of mental distress.
The news was broken by producer Awicko Jakabunde, who shared a video on his Facebook page, revealing the shocking decline of the once-popular Luo artist.
Boaz Jagingo, who rose to fame with his captivating Ohangla songs, has allegedly turned mad, and his current living conditions have sparked concern among fans and fellow artists.
Awicko urged the Ohangla community and the broader Luo music fraternity to come together to help Boaz recover before it’s too late.
“This is now getting worse. Boaz Jagingo is now a mad person in the streets of Dandora. KINDLY Luo artists, can we come together and assist Jagingo before it gets out of hand,” Awicko posted, expressing his worry over Jagingo’s mental health and well-being.
Awicko reminded fans and musicians of a similar case with Wuod Ajigo, another artist who faced mental health challenges but was helped through swift community support.
Wuod Ajigo was admitted to Oasis Hospital, received treatment, and eventually returned to the music scene in good health. Awicko hopes the same can be done for Boaz, whose current situation has left many in shock.
Boaz Jagingo has been making headlines in recent months for his controversial live TikTok sessions, where he frequently attacked other musicians, including Osogo Winyo, accusing them of mistreatment.
However, no one anticipated his sudden and dramatic downfall, which has now left him homeless and in a state of mental disorder
