Businesswoman Elseba Kokeyo, popularly known as Cebbie Koks, has spoken out about the overwhelming fan support she has received amid reports that her ex-partner has moved on with another woman.
Cebbie, who has been a frequent target of social media bullying, expressed her deep gratitude for the kindness and solidarity shown by her followers during this challenging time.
On September 9, Cebbie took to Instagram to share her appreciation for the unexpected calm and support she has experienced from her online community.
“In the past 3 days, I experienced something entirely different—a profound stillness. The internet, which often roars with cruelty, became unexpectedly calm for me,” she wrote in her post.
Reflecting on her past encounters with online criticism, Cebbie noted how she had previously faced harsh scrutiny, rumors, and negative portrayals.
However, this time around, she found solace in the kindness of strangers who extended their grace and helped her regain her strength.
“Felt the calmness around me and the favor, love, and immense support. This time; it was completely different. Strangers extended their grace, and, piece by piece, they helped hold me together. It was a kindness I had never encountered before,” she expressed.
Cebbie emphasized that she does not take this support for granted.
“I am deeply humbled by this experience. Truly, God’s grace is sufficient, and I do not take it for granted. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who is with me and stood by me and continues to do so. Those who chose to uplift rather than tear down,” she added.
Although she may not be able to respond to every message, call, or comment, Cebbie reassured her supporters that she sees and appreciates all the love and support she has received.
Speaking about the rumors of her ex-husband moving on, Cebbie hinted that there might be some truth to the speculations, revealing that the woman involved was once part of her circle of friends.
Cebbie and Steve Ogolla had a high-profile traditional wedding in December 2022, but rumors of their separation surfaced in mid-2023. By January 2024, Cebbie had unfollowed Steve on social media and removed all traces of their wedding and vacation photos from her accounts, signaling a definitive end to their relationship.
