Ian Nene, or beter known as Almasi has been trying to find his purpose on earth. For months now he has been hinting that he is part of the LGBT community. Apart from this new change, another is his Buddhist monk religion. From his Instagram posts, we can tell that he has find peace, and he is happy with who he is.
However, fans are not having it. Despite quitting his acting career, his fans are still keeping up with his private life. Kenyans especially, seem worried because they have never seen such spiritual callings. Not in the African set up.
According to the dictionary, a monk is a person who has decided to dedicate his life to serve other living things. The same explanation Ian Nene gave to one of his fans wondered why Nene now values cows.

Na shida yetu kama binadamu ni tumeamua kwamba sisi ndio hupanga maisha ya wanyama wake. Ng’ombe ni kama mama. Yeye hutupatia dawa, maziwa na ulinzi. Mbona sasa tuwauwe wanyama wa Mungu? Shida yetu ni kwamba ulimi zetu zinatulinda Kufanya mabaya duniani… na ni lazima tubadilishe tabia zetu zinazotupoteza maishani.”
