Details Leak on What Ruto Is Assembling To Battle Raila

Fresh details have now emerged on what William Ruto is assembling ahead of the Supreme Court hearing set to take place after Raila Odinga forwards his case to the Supreme Court. William Ruto is believed to be assembling a team set to help him discharge the promises he made to Kenyans after being sworn into power. On another side, Azimio want to rely on Wafula Chebukati’s claims that several voters were improperly transferred, which had an impact on voter turnout in Raila’s strongholds. They will also present evidence demonstrating how Wafula Chebukati’s dictatorial administrative rule caused the Commission to split, which prevented them from meeting to confirm and take into account spoiled ballots.

To persuade the Supreme Court judges that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission was involved in a series of fraudulent manipulations intended to deny Raila Odinga a victory in the August 9 General Election, details indicate that the Azimio legal team has assembled a ton of documents and other evidence. Within the Kenya Kwanza camp of the incoming president, there is rumoured to be sibling rivalry as supporters compete for the job of majority leader in the National Assembly. Two people are in the group, and each of them is endorsing a different candidate.

New Migori woman representative Fatuma Mohammed has been accused of leaning towards Kenya Kwanza that is led by DP William Ruto. Fatuma Mohammed was elected on an independent ticket, the only independent in the region for a woman representative. During the April ODM nominations, she made headlines after she cried out for being “denied” the party ticket despite selling her 25 million shillings house.

Via the Migori Times Magazine, from a page capture, as seen above, it is reported that she leans towards Ruto’s side and intends to be part of the team in parliament. Being an independent candidate, she is free to support any side that she so wishes. However, the fact that she comes from Luo Nyanza means she should be on Raila’s side, well for her acceptance among Raila supporters who elected her.

This comes at a time when William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza has already received upto 13 lawmakers who were elected on an independent ticket into their fold. These are, however, allegations at the moment as Fatuma has not come out to address them yet.
