Man’s stalled Vehicle stolen in Muranga after stepping out for 30 minutes.

Police in Muranga County are hunting for thieves who stole a middle-aged man’s stalled Vehicle on Monday 5am.

According to Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) report, Stephen Kamau had parked his silver Toyota hiace with registration number KCA 264 L by the roadside and decided to keep vigil inside the Vehicle, as he waited for early morning mechanics to open their doors for business.

But at around 5am, he alighted from the vehicle and walked towards Mukuyu where he hoped to find a mechanic.

However, along the way he dicovered that he had left his type c phone charger inside the vehicle and decided to go back and get it.

“Kamau was shocked to find his broken down vehicle missing. How it disappeared from where he had left it 30 minutes earlier, baffled him,” the DCI statement on Twitter read.

He consequently filed a report at the Muranga Police station
