Laikipia Gets Messy As GSU Officer Shoots Colleague Before Vanishing In The Bushes

A police officer ranked constable has turned to be a killer cop after he turned against his colleague shooting and killing him at Miteta camp in Laikipia.

The General Service Unit (GSU) officer Tuesday shot dead his colleague in Laikipia West following an argument.

The two constables who are based at Miteta GSU camp are part of a multi-agency security team deployed to the area to flush out bandits in the neighbouring Laikipia Nature Conservancy.

It is alleged that a scuffle ensued when in an unexpected turn of events one of the officers grabbed his gun and shot his colleague killing him instantly.

Confirming the incident, Laikipia Police Commander John Nyoike said the killer officer left the camp hurriedly with his belongings and disappeared into the bush where he continued to shoot in the air to scare his colleagues who were pursuing him.
