Raila Odinga’s key ally who is a first term ODM legislator has been arrested by police officers in Kisumu.
The MP, Fred Ouda, is accused of leading a group supporters in attacking supporters of his opponents at a restaurant in Milimani estate.
But according to a local media station, the MP is said to have already been grilled by police officers over alleged incitement and damage of property.
His arrest comes as ODM leader Raila Odinga was in Nyamira to woo voters as the 2022 general elections hots up.
He was accompanied by Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe and Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa.
