Drama as police bust men and women engaging in the act in a vehicle to celebrate lifting of curfew

Residents of Ruai were forced to witness a bizarre incident after naked men and women were allegedly arrested by police officers while engaging themselves in the act in a vehicle.

According to the DCI, Vianane Kibet, Silvia Kasiva, Esther Karingaru and Derizel Njiru were arrested naked after being suspected to be armed robbers.

Their arrest followed a call from a concerned neighbour, who contacted Administration Police stationed at AP driving School in Rual and informed them of suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood, who occupants had unclear intentions.

“The highly skilled officer in critical infrastructure protection approached the vehicle cautiously from a distance. Suddenly, they saw silhouettes of human beings quickly jump into the vehicle that speed off, leaving behind a thick cloud dust,” said DCI kinoti.

The Director of Criminal Investigations said the suspects showed no sign of stopping after a five-kilometer chase.

“But officers deflated two of the suspects tires in two precise shots, bringing the dramatic chase to an abrupt end,” Kinoti said.

Kinoti said when the officers approached the truck, four naked occupants two men and two ladies jumped out, lifting their hands up in surrender.

“It was such an anticlimax for the law enforcement officers, who had earlier swung into action thinking that it was another action-packed night, of engaging city thugs,”DCI said.

“Only for them to discover that they had just spoiled the party for four adults who were having the time of their lives, probably celebrating the recently vacated dusk-dawn curfew,”

The four were escorted to Ruai Police station. Their vehicle was also towed to the station.
