Citizen TV anchor Willis Raburu has blasted his ex-wife, Marya Prude for claiming that she is responsible for his success.
Though he did not mention her name directly, Raburu noted that he laughs anytime he hears Marya claims that all the success he hers is all because of her efforts.
“I like it when people say while telling others stories referring or pointing to me and saying: he is where he is koz of me, i did that him… well…” Raburu wrote.
The TV presenter further went to post a video of a rap by American rapper Jay-Z which tried to illustrate his situation with Marya. From the rap lyric, Raburu seems to be telling Marya that he admits that she made him but its now time for to go make another man.
Uh, you feel me? Uh… I heard m******** sayin’ they made Hov… Made Hov say, “Okay, so make another Hov”… N**** wasnt playin’ they day role… So we parted ways like Ben and J-Lo,” the rap lyrics said.
Raburu further admitted that it is true that he got help from his ex and appreciates it but that doesnt mean he did not work hard to get where he is.
“That’s not to say I haven’t got help along the way, and I appreciate it all. The lists is endless. But damn! I was here too! I worked hard too,” he wrote.
Marya and Raburu broke up in 2019 months after they lost their baby, Adana. It is not yet clear why the couple parted ways as none of them have not officially come out to explain what happened to them.
Months after breaking up, Raburu got into a relationship with Ivy Namu with whom he has a baby boy.
