Prince Indah and Samidoh to do music collabo ahead of Raila’s major announcement

As the country waits for Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila’s big announcement that will see his major collaboration between Luo Nyanza and Mt Kenya region on December 9, there is also a major collaboration that is cooking in the music scene that will see top Ohangal and Mugithi artists come together.

Since the success of his hit song Adhiambo which he did alongside Kelvin Bahati, Ohangla musician Evans Ochieng Owino commonly known as Prince Indah has revealed that he has been in high demand as many national and regional artists want to do a collabo with him.

Prince Indah says that his songs have been buzzing with many music artists and music promoters either requesting a music collabo or asking him to go perform at their events.

Some of the big names in the music industry that has approached him for a collabo or to feature them in a song include Akothee and Willy Paul.

The Mama Watoto hitmaker has, however, remained sceptical about doing collabos with some musicians. According to him, he is aware that some big musicians invite rising music stars like him for work but instead kill their talents.

“It has taken me blood and sweat to establish my brand that is now gaining momentum and traction. I am not against collaborations but I also know some brands will always be out there to kill new ones. This is why I meticulously plan what collaborations to be on,” he told Sunday Nation.

Though he says that he is reluctant to collaborate with some artists he says that he has done music with big names in the industry such as Khaligraph and their song will soon be out.

He also revealed that he has agreed to release a song with Muthigi music star Samwel Muchoki alias Samidoh. Indah said that they will hit the studios as soon as Samidoh comes from his US tour.

“I have started doing collaborations. There is one with Khaligraph Jones not yet released. Aso, Samidoh and I have agreed to hit the studio once he is back from his USA tour. We have never heard of an Ohangla-Mugithi collabo. It is time,” he said in an interview with Sunday Nation.
