Jalang’o announces exit from Kiss FM

Kiss FM radio presenter Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has revealed that he will soon quit his radio job and start intensifying his quest to clinch the Lang’ata parliamentary seat in the next year’s elections.

Jalang’o who has been hosting a morning show alongside Kamene Goro at the Radio Africa radio station revealed that he is planning to quit the station in February next year.

The radio host cum comedian made the announce during a interview with MC Tricky on his online TV, Jalang’o TV.

Jalng’o revealed that he is serious about his bid to run for the MP seat and he is sure that he will win the seat come 2022.

“Tarehe tisa February ndio siku yangu ya mwisho, ndio nataka kuingia kwa kiwanja ya campaign,” he said.

“Niko serious kabisa, I don’t go for things that I can’t get, nimepiga research mbaya sana ndio uone nimeamua ni Lang’ata,” he added.

Jalang’o also explained why he would not wish to the Parliamentary seat in Homa/Bay, a place where he perceive as his second home having grown there.

He said that he would not run for a MP seat in Homa/Bay because many people don’t know him and he too does know the challenges people in the region face unlike in Lang’ata.

“Hawanijui huko (Homa Bay), halafu sasa unaendaje kusimama mahali ata hujui shida za watu?” He posed to MCA Tricky.

Jalang’o announced his bod to run for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat this year and he will do so under the ODM party ticket.
