Ruto’s Mega Rally In Muranga Called Off Last Minute

DP William Ruto.

Deputy President’s Muranga mega rally that was slated for the 11th May has been called off once again.

The prayer rally that was scheduled to take place at Kenol, Muranga County on May 11 was to see the deputy president William Ruto as the chief guest and over 50 MPs attend to launch the Murang’a Church Sacco. Reports have now emerged the said rally was not on the deputy president’s scheduled.

The exact reasons as to why this highly publicised event will not take place are not clearly known. For instance, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro who is a staunch supporter of Ruto told Nation that a warning from the weather department forced the cancellation of the meeting. Whereas Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege is on tape pointing fingers to the rising of political temperatures that may have caused the last minute cancellation.

The Deputy President’s spokesman David Mugonyi insists that rally was not on Ruto’s weekend schedule and not aware of the said function
