Frank Murugi, a Belgian national who made headlines in Kenya after marrying a Kenyan woman, has caused controversy by kicking her out of their joint TikTok account. Murugi, whose real name is Neluemrev Knarf, recently revealed that he had left Kenya to spend time with his second wife and his other two children in Belgium.
In a video posted on social media, Murugi explained his decision to leave, stating that he had spent all of his time with his Kenyan wife and that it was now time to be with his other family. He changed the username of their joint TikTok account from Frank Murugi to Kenia_vermeulen1, after the couple’s five-month-old daughter.
However, Murugi’s Kenyan wife, whose name has not been revealed, expressed her disappointment with the situation, saying that she had been sharing details about their relationship on the account and had not been consulted about the change. She also accused Murugi of not providing for her and their child and demanded that he take responsibility for his family.
The couple’s relationship has been a subject of controversy in Kenya since they got married, with many people expressing concern about the age difference between the two and the fact that Murugi already had a family in Belgium. Some have also accused Murugi of exploiting his Kenyan wife for personal gain.
