Kenyan media personality Betty Kyallo has revealed that she has been in a secret relationship for the past year.
Speaking to an online media outlet during the launch of her new location at One Padmore Place for her beauty spa Flair By Betty, she stated that although she has been dating, she prefers to keep her man’s identity under wraps until she is ready to get married again.
Betty explained that she wants to take a different approach this time around, and avoid sharing too much about her relationship online.
She believes that publicly sharing details about her relationships in the past may have led to negative outcomes, and is keen to avoid making the same mistake.
“I feel like this time I want to do it differently, because naonanga hii kitu ya kudate na kuweka kila kitu online sometimes me huona kama iko na ka-curse,” she said adding that when she gets married again it will be a small event.
“I’ve come to realize that it’s all about two people, hizi vitu kubwa kubwa sijui baby shower, wedding kubwa kubwa… me I’m gonna do something very small,” she said.
The media personality has had high-profile relationships in the past, including with lawyer Nick Ndeda and former TV presenter Dennis Okari.
She stated that her team is currently filming season two of her reality show, Kyallo Culture, and added that the first season was well received and helped her and her sisters gain recognition and showcase their strengths. She also mentioned that the show has made millions of shillings.
