The Hustler Nation Intelligence Bureau (HNIB) Director General Sam Terriz has reported that agents have obtained information that the opposition leader Raila Odinga is planning a mass action in Nairobi on Monday. The HNIB also revealed that Odinga was currently at the home of one of the MPs in Karen where he is meeting Luo Nyanza MPs to plan for the demonstration.

According to the intelligence report released by Dennis Itumbi on his social media pages, a road show has been planned in Nairobi on Saturday and Sunday to mobilize supporters for the planned mass action. Furthermore, several people have been allocated cells for the violent demos, with the full list in the possession of the DG HNIB.

The plan, as per the intelligence report, is to invade “Kikuyu” businesses in Riveroad, Tom Mboya, and Moi Avenue, in order to drive police to that side, while a second group uses the Sagret route to access State House. A third group will invade Nyayo House where Energy and Immigration offices are housed. The idea behind this is to create 360 degrees of chaos.

The HNIB report indicates that the entire plan is aimed at attracting aggressive police reaction. An MP who doubles up as an HNIB agent and is in the meeting has reported that the team is also afraid that civil disobedience that destroys businesses may end up getting the wrong result. They want running battles, paralyzed transport, a few broken windows, and then tear gas, anti-riot trucks, and live bullets.

Meanwhile, President Ruto on Wednesday warned opposition leader Raila Odinga against holding unlawful protests that will result in the destruction of lives and property or the paralyzation of business operations in the country.
Speaking at State House, Nairobi when he met leaders from Trans Nzoia County, the Head of State insisted that he will not allow any attempt by Odinga to “blackmail” the country, urging him to liaise with police over the planned demonstrations.
