Bernard Ndong’s father was the Minister for Trade in Moi’s government. Despite this, little is known about his private life. Ndong was also one of the contestants in the famous KTN talent search show “The Presenter” where Janet Mbugua (a judge on the show) told him to try something else because he will not make a good presenter.

Despite this too, little is known about Ndong’s private life. However, in an unexpected and uncharacteristic fashion, the ntv presenter shared with the public how Citizen TV’s Waihiga Mwaura has been entangled in his life.
Bernard Ndong went on his Twitter handle to reveal that in only 48 hours, he had been referred to as Waihiga Mwaura, not once but twice. Declaring vehemently that he isn’t Waihiga, he wondered what would cause this confusion when he was visibly more light-skinned than the Citizen TV anchor.

Thankfully Waihiga appeared to take it in good stride, replying to it with a string of smiley emojis.
