As the country is prepared to conduct election poll on Tuesday next week, details has emerged from the Ministry of Information and Technology regarding Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC Server.

As People’s Daily reports, Information Technology Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru has made a major announcement on IEBC Server, leaking what the state cannot do in Next Week’s Election day. Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru has exuded the confidence that Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission’s server is ready for next week’s election.

Speaking, ICT CS Joe Mucheru has said that the state will not allow the upgrade of networks during next week’s election. CS Mucheru further said that servers are serious components in storage of election information and cannot be opened by the state unless directed by Court.

Joe Mucheru said that the government is trying to be as transparent as possible and that why the commission has allowed media to access form 34A of the election. However, Kenya Kwanza Alliance camp has been accusing the ministry of Information Technology following their Alleged malicious plan to temper with the election. However, CS Joe Mucheru has dismissed the allegations.

Deputy President William Ruto has finally reacted to the viral billboard displaying various poll results on the most preferred presidential candidate.
The campaign billboard, which was erected after a series of polls putting Raila on top, has now elicited mixed reactions, especially among online users. According to the displayed results, Raila leads with 52.3 per cent on average, while Ruto is in second place with 44.3 per cent. Roots Party of Kenya presidential candidate George Wajackoyah and Agano’s David Mwaure fall in third and fourth place with 2 per cent and 0.3 per cent, respectively.

According to reports, the billboard was erected just before Muthaiga along Thika Superhighway, and it was erected just four days before the general elections. The sponsor of the billboard I’d not known also. Deputy President has now said the billboard is allegedly displaying fake opinion polls. He has, however, reiterated that he doesn’t need the billboards for a win. The Dp has reaffirmed that he has the people and is assured of a win.
