Governor Lee Kinyanjui has responded to Rigathi Gachagua hours after he was linked to Moi’s family. Gachagua while speaking in Molo said Kinyanjui is the son of former president Daniel Moi hence it’s him to apologize for the atrocities and crimes that were committed by his father.

Lee Kinyanjui is clear those who were in Nakuru rally mentioned his name severally more than the name of Susan Kihika. According to him, it’s clear he is not a UDA manifesto hence the leaders must stop linking him to their sinking ship.

Lee Kinyanjui is clear as much as he is concerned, Rigathi Gachagua only came to Nakuru to insult him and not offer any form of solutions. According to him, it’s clear those mistaking him to part of Moi are mistaken for he doesn’t have to apologize over any matter.

There are already speculations that Lee Kinyanjui is Moi’s Son given he is yet to deny Gachagua’s allegation. Gachagua is on record saying, it’s the son of Moi, Lee Kinyanjui who should apologize for the atrocities in Molo and not him for he was only doing his job as a civil servant. Gachagua is clear he has never served in Molo.

Meanwhile, Deputy President William Ruto on Saturday gifted four schools in Mombasa county with school buses.

The schools are, Mohamed Ali Girls Secondary School, Kongowea Secondary School, Frere Town Secondary School and Khadija Secondary School in Nyali Constituency. The DP said Kenya Kwanza associates with area MP Mohamed Ali for his commitment and continued role in enhancing access to quality education in Nyali through the NG-CDF.

“We pledge to channel more funds to the grassroots to further our country’s development,” Ruto said.

The buses were ushered into the schools in style, decorated with balloons.

Pupils and teachers could not hide their joy after they saw the buses that will aid teachers and students’ movement.

Ruto will on Saturday pitch tents in Kwale for an economic forum event. It is his second day to tour the region after launching a series of political rallies at the coast on Friday. The DP is meeting with Kwale locals at the county government headquarters in Tsimba/Golini ward in Matuga sub-county.
