In the early hours of January 4, 2024, tragedy struck at Mlango Tatu area along Nakuru-Eldoret Road as a road traffic accident unfolded, claiming the lives of three individuals.
Officers from the National Police Service (NPS) at Timboroa Police Station swiftly responded to the distressing incident that occurred at approximately 01:40 hours.

Emergency response teams acted promptly, rushing the injured individuals to Eldama Ravine Sub-county Hospital for immediate medical attention.
Regrettably, despite the best efforts of medical professionals, two additional, unidentified passengers succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at Eldama Ravine Sub-county Hospital.
Their bodies have been transferred to the hospital morgue, where they await autopsy procedures to ascertain the exact cause of their demise.
