The 25- year- old victim, Christine Auma, fell victim to unknown assailants in Kamwala village, Boya sublocation, Ndhiwa constituency, under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday.
Auma’ s tragic demise unfolded as she was cooking in her kitchen while her husband and relatives waited for supper in a separate building’ s sitting room. Assistant Chief Milton Kawino reported that suspected criminals broke into the kitchen, resulting in a loud disturbance that prompted Auma’ s husband and relatives to investigate.
According to Auma’ s husband, upon reaching the kitchen, he discovered his wife lying in a pool of blood, her head gruesomely missing. Further exploration led him to find her severed head on the other side of the kitchen. This chilling incident has evoked mixed reactions among Kenyans, prompting widespread condemnation of the heinous act.
