Kenyan actress and renowned content creator Caroline Muthoni Ngethe, popularly known as Carrol Sonnie, is incredibly fortunate to be alive today after being involved in a road accident.
In her Thursday evening statement, the former partner of comedian Mulamwah revealed that she, among others she did not mention, narrowly escaped losing their lives in a severe road accident. Even though they emerged alive from the incident, the harrowing experience left her in fear and shock.
“Oh God. We almost lost our lives in a car accident… Our God is a God of another chance,” Carrol Sonnie expressed through her Instastories.
She added, “I am so traumatized. Oh God!”
However, the mother of one did not disclose further details about the horrifying accident. Nevertheless, she continued to express her gratitude to God for saving her from the terrifying ordeal.
About two months ago, the actress and her co-parent Mulamwah publicly engaged in a disagreement about their cooperation in raising their two-year-old daughter.
In October, Mulamwah expressed his intention to contribute to the upbringing of their only child with Carrol Sonnie. During a Q&A session on Instagram, the father of one claimed that it had not been easy for him to be involved in his daughter’s life. He stated that every time he sent money or gifts to support their two-year-old daughter, it would be returned to him.
“I am trying to help, but it’s not easy. You send money, it gets reversed. Even birthday gifts I sent were returned. So, it becomes very difficult,” Mulamwah replied to a fan who inquired if he was involved in raising his daughter.
The 30-year-old comedian pointed out that he did not understand where the problem lay between him and his former partner.
Later, Sonnie seemed to confirm that she was returning money and other assistance sent by her ex-boyfriend Kendrick Mulamwah for the upbringing of their daughter.
The content creator issued a brief statement a few days after Mulamwah spoke, hinting at the reason for rejecting the help from her former partner. Sonnie talked about refusing offers that come without respect.
“Good morning. Just a quick reminder. No matter how broke you are, DO NOT ACCEPT offerings that come with LACK OF RESPECT,” Sonnie wrote.
