Radio Africa Group is grieving the sudden and tragic loss of Aleem Amin Abdul Manji, the esteemed host of the East FM breakfast show.

The announcement of Manji’s passing on Sunday has left a heavy heart within the broadcasting community, as well as among the listeners who tuned in daily to his show.

In a statement, East FM expressed profound sadness at the demise of Manji, describing him as more than just a colleague but a friend and an integral part of the station’s success. With over 15 years dedicated to the morning airwaves, Manji brought laughter, warmth, and immense joy to the audience.

“Heaven earned itself an Angel,” the station said in tribute.

Colleagues remembered Manji as a team player who had significantly contributed to East FM’s journey. The void left by his absence will undoubtedly be deeply felt by both the station and its listeners.

At the age of 45, Aleem Amin Abdul Manji leaves behind a legacy of professionalism and camaraderie. The announcement of his burial on Tuesday, November 14, at 9.15 am at the Aga Khan Complex and Pavilion marks a solemn moment for those who knew and admired him. Manji is survived by his wife of 13 years and two children.
