Controversial details have emerged regarding the death of Sally Kwendo, a former journalist with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
She reportedly passed away on November 28, 2023, after having gone missing from her residence in Nairobi.
Initial reports indicated that her body was discovered at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) morgue after allegedly being abducted a few days prior.
However, according to sources, Sally Kwendo had been grappling with mental health issues and had become destructive.
Her prolonged battle with depression symptoms led her family to admit her to a Nairobi hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her condition.
Following her passing, her body was transferred to the Kenyatta Hospital morgue and later to Umash Funeral Home.
A close friend of the late Sally Kwendo shared a condolence message online, disclosing that he had spoken to her three days before her demise, during which she assured him that she would heal and be okay.
