Controversial pastor Ezekiel Odero has stirred up a storm on social media after claiming that he can interpret a woman’s marital status based on her choice of earrings.
In a sermon at his church, which was widely circulated online, the pastor, who boasts of the ability to mend broken marriages, alleged that women who wear earrings, especially more than three, are inviting trouble into their marriages.
According to Ezekiel, if a woman wears more than three earrings, it is a direct indication that she is plagued by the star of divorce.
“There’s a man called Ezekiel, God has given him the grace to restore people who have faced divorce. You got one divorce, others got three, do you want your husband?” Ezekiel asked a woman who had come to his church with marriage and divorce certificates.
Before she could respond, Ezekiel noticed that the woman was wearing three earrings in one ear.
“These are certificates of divorce,” Ezekiel remarked, referring to the earrings on the woman’s ear.
“Prostitutes wear many of these. But the spirit of divorce tells you to wear them, two are not enough, wear three. The spirit of divorce tells you to wear revealing clothes, let people see your chest, wear short dresses, why cover your legs?” Ezekiel questioned.

The pastor emphasized that it is the spirit that guides a person’s decisions and actions.
His remarks have sparked outrage and debate online, with many criticizing his views as outdated and judgmental.
