In a perplexing incident, the police in Nakuru are currently investigating the untimely demise of a 57-year-old man in a hotel room.
The man, who had checked into the hotel accompanied by a 21-year-old woman, was found lifeless on the bed.
According to the police report, the duo had arrived at the hotel on a Tuesday around 1 pm.
Later that day, at approximately 5 pm, the young woman approached the hotel reception, expressing that the man was experiencing difficulty in breathing. Tragically, by the time assistance arrived, the man had succumbed.
Law enforcement officers from Kaptembwo Police Station, along with Crime Scene Investigation personnel and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations from Nakuru West, promptly responded to the call.
Upon preliminary inspection, no physical injuries were detected on the deceased. The scene was meticulously examined, documented, and the body was subsequently transferred to Nakuru County Municipal Morgue.
As the investigation unfolds, authorities are eagerly awaiting the results of the post-mortem examination.
