In a small town in Masii, Machakos County, residents were jolted awake on Sunday, September 10, by a shocking and tragic discovery.
A 77-year-old man was found dead in a hotel room, and the circumstances surrounding his death have raised concerns about the misuse of male enhancement drugs in Kenya.
According to a police report obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the elderly man had spent the previous night in the company of a 32-year-old woman before his lifeless body was discovered the following morning.
The pair had reserved the hotel room on Saturday, but what transpired within those walls would end in tragedy.
Hotel staff stumbled upon the grim scene, discovering the man unclothed and unconscious on the bed.
The shocking twist came when the contents of the deceased’s bag were revealed: 25 tablets of men’s boosters and four empty sachets of the same medication. It is strongly suspected that he had consumed these pills, which are often used for male enhancement.
To delve deeper into this mysterious incident, the 32-year-old woman was taken in for questioning by the police. This event bears an eerie resemblance to a similar case from July, where a Catholic priest from Murang’a County met a similar fate in a nearby hotel after a night with a woman.
The priest had been in a six-year relationship with the lady, and they had previously visited the hotel multiple times.
