Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika responded with a cryptic message shortly after her co-parent, Brown Mauzo, announced their separation.
On Wednesday, Brown Mauzo took to his social media pages to announce that they had decided to go their separate ways for the benefit of themselves and their children.
“Dear friends and followers, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for us and our children, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” Brown Mauzo announced on Wednesday.

The musician continued to express gratitude to everyone who had been part of their relationship, one they’ve been proud of and showcased on social media.
“We want to thank you all for your unwavering love and support throughout our relationship. Your encouragement has meant the world to us. As we embark on this new chapter, we ask for your understanding and respect for our privacy during this time,” Mauzo indicated.
Mauzo hinted that the next chapter of their lives would focus on healing after the breakup and embracing what lies ahead.
“Although our paths may diverge, we will cherish the memories we’ve created together. We both remain thankful for the lessons we’ve learned and the growth we’ve undergone. Our goal now is healing and embracing the future with open hearts. Thank you once again for being part of our journey,” he said.
An hour later, Vera shared pictures of herself inside an airplane heading to an undisclosed location, leaving her fans guessing.
In those pictures, the mother of two appeared unruffled and unaffected, enjoying the luxurious section of the plane.
“Catch flights, not feelings. Guess my next stop,” Vera captioned the post along with a plane emoji.
Vera and Mauzo have been together for approximately three years and already share two children, a boy and a girl.
