Renowned Mugithi musician Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, responded firmly after a fan urged him to visit his children in the United States.

Samidoh, currently on a music tour in Melbourne, Australia, had posted a photo of himself in the city and shared an intriguing quote.

“In the battle between the heart and the mind, I always listen to my stomach,” he wrote.

As usual, social media users gathered under the post, offering various kinds of responses, with some appearing to criticize the father of five.

One Facebook user, identifying as Teresiah Nyambura Wainaina, urged the singer to pass by where his children were.

“Visit your children, boss,” she wrote.

In his response, the Mugithi singer hinted that he doesn’t recall having children with that particular user.

He replied, “Hehe, I remember having kids with you, truly a Nyakanga grandmother from Hoji.”

Another user attempted to inquire about Samidoh’s well-being, mentioning that his children with their mother in the USA were about to start school.

“Father Abraham, your children and Nothing but prayers seem to be joining school in the USA.. I hope you’re okay,” the fan wrote.

Samidoh retorted, “I’m not okay until you’re dewormed.”

Three of the musician’s children have been in the USA with their mother Edday Nderitu for the past several months.

Last month, Edday openly revealed that she left her husband Samidoh to be with a woman who seemed to want him more.

“Let me clarify a few things that were shared online and are not true. I am not in a polygamous marriage, as has been said, I left my husband for anyone who wanted him more,” Edday said via Facebook.

She added, “I made the decision to remove myself and my children from that toxic environment, especially my young daughter who unfortunately was directly subjected to a questionable behavior.”

The mother of three hinted that she doesn’t regret leaving her long-standing marriage and openly stated that she has managed to raise her children without any assistance.

She also addressed claims by Karen Nyamu that she and her children communicate with the Mugithi singer via video calls.

“As for communication and video calls, I’ll leave it there, as some people seem to be present when it happens, but I am not aware. In this new season of my life, I don’t need any drama, I just need peace. I hope in the upcoming season of this series, my name will be left out,” she said.
