In a surprising turn of events, popular Kenyan media personalities David Oyando, known as Mulamwah, and Alex Mwakideu have decided to reverse their decisions to leave Milele FM, a prominent radio station in Kenya.
Mulamwah, a renowned comedian, had announced on August 8th that he was quitting his role at Milele FM after a year and three months of service. He attributed his departure to a lack of agreement on certain terms of his contract and the scope of his work.
However, a recent social media post by Mulamwah revealed that he and the radio station had engaged in discussions and come to a mutual understanding.
Consequently, he expressed his delight in continuing his role as the host of the Konki show from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
“Back on MILELE FM , we had discussions and came to an agreement. Mambo iko safi kabisa !! Show konki continues 1-4pm monday to friday . asanteni mafans , extension it is , you did it 💪💯 . KONKIIII 🙏 . Itambe MILELE . @milelefm @look_empire254.”
Similarly, media personality Alex Mwakideu had initially declared his departure from Milele FM, citing the desire to embark on a new chapter.
He had expressed his gratitude for the support of his fans during his time at the station.
Yet, a subsequent social media update clarified that a misunderstanding had arisen between Mwakideu and the radio station, which was successfully resolved.
As a result, Mwakideu announced his decision to remain with Milele FM and continue engaging with his audience.
