The political landscape mourns the loss of Mumbuni North MCA Gideon Kavuu, who tragically passed away at a Machakos Hospital on Saturday. The news of his demise emerged shortly after he was rushed to the hospital for medical attention by a relative.

Kavuu was a prominent figure and was recently seen attending the eighth National Devolution Conference in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, alongside fellow leaders. His presence in the political realm will be deeply missed by his colleagues and constituents alike.

Foreign Affairs CS Alfred Mutua expressed his sorrow, stating, “Fare thee well mheshimiwa Gideon Saul Kavuu. What a loss of a humble and dedicated leader. My condolences to his family, Governor Wavinya Ndeti, his colleagues, and the people of Mumbuni North and Machakos.”
