During the famous patanisho show hosted by Gidi and Ghost on Radio Jambo, Mercy Moraa, 26, sent a message requesting reconciliation with her husband Nelson Ochonga, 26, whom she had a falling out with a month ago.
Moraa, who revealed that she is currently four months pregnant with Nelson’s child, stated that her husband left their home a month ago, claiming he was going to check on their beans at home.
She explained that after her husband left, he married another woman who was introduced to him by her sisters. “We were living together in the same house. Due to pressure from my mother-in-law, I suggested that we move out. He agreed, and we moved to Narok. He paid rent for a house, and we stayed there for a month. He said he went home to check on the beans. He said he would return. However, when I returned home, I found only our children; he was gone,” Moraa recounted.
She added, “He took everything, even his dirty clothes. When I asked about the clothes, he said he might come back for them. He had promised to return the following Saturday. But before that Saturday, I was informed that his sisters had brought another woman who had a child with him. He called me two days ago and said we are still together.”
Moraa mentioned that her aunties who live close to Nelson’s family informed her about his decision to remarry.
“His sisters even posted pictures of them on Facebook. I just wanted to know his stance. I am four months pregnant, and he knows that,” she said.
When Nelson was contacted, he admitted that he has moved on with his life and hinted at reasons that led him to leave Moraa.
“That lady hurt me a lot, so I decided to come back home. She used to go out a lot, and I got tired of her wandering ways. We have been through a lot with that girl, but I have heard some things. I called her yesterday, and she told me goodbye, saying she’s with another man now. On Father’s Day, she even posted about her ex. That hurt. I came back home last month, and I moved on. I felt it was time,” Nelson explained.
Moraa insisted that she only wanted to know Nelson’s stance and expressed that she is struggling with anxiety and stress.
