Renowned Mugithi musician DJ Fatxo has set his sights on international horizons as he unveils plans to relocate to the United Kingdom, after recently changing his management to a UK-based company poising to elevate his career to new heights in pursuit of his dream of becoming a global sensation.
Speaking to bloggers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Fatxo expressed his enduring commitment to his Kenyan roots while highlighting his belief that the UK offers the optimal platform for his artistic growth.
“I have changed my management. My management is currently based in the UK. God willing very soon I might be ‘UK ‘ based.”
Does that mean he is moving abroad
“No, but most of the things I will be doing will be in the UK.”
Why change managements
“I am still working with my Kenyan management but I felt the need to be international. I hope this new manager will help me go international.”
“I’ve always aspired to be an international artist, and I genuinely believe that the UK provides the perfect environment for me to achieve that goal,” he remarked.
Addressing the cloud of controversy that had surrounded him, stemming from allegations linked to the demise of interior designer Jeff Mwathi, Fatxo displayed a spirit of magnanimity and resilience. He was acquitted of murder charges in February, and he said that he has forgiven those who accused him.
“I thank God for freedom and my vindication, I have already forgiven those who wronged me.”
âI am not the first person to be hated,â he said. âI am a forgiving person, and I let go and let God.â
With unwavering gratitude for his devoted fan base, Fatxo eagerly anticipates embarking on this fresh chapter of his musical journey.
âI am ready to take my music to the world,â he said. âI am going to work hard and make Kenya proud.â
Fatxo also shared on how he is dealing with hate:
“God is my personal friend and so I did not care about what people said about me. The hate has never moved me. Nowadays I am used to it. God has given me strength and perseverance.”
