The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is in a state of mourning following the untimely deaths of two of its officials, Joseph Misoi and Simeon Amukhula.
Joseph Misoi, a founding member of the party, served as the longest-serving member of the National Elections Board. He also held the position of a former Member of Parliament for Eldoret South.
The party expressed its deep sorrow over his passing, hailing him for his unwavering dedication and loyalty to ODM’s ideology. Misoi’s contributions and service to the party were described as boundless, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all.
Simeon Amukhula, the Secretary-General to Esumeiya, Shikomari, and Shinoyi Ward in Navakholo Constituency, was also mourned by ODM.
He was recognized as a staunch supporter of ODM and its leader, Raila Odinga, from the party’s inception. His unwavering dedication and loyalty to the party were noted and appreciated by all those who knew him.
As news of their passing spread, Kenyans from all walks of life sent their heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of Joseph Misoi and Simeon Amukhula.
In this time of mourning, ODM prayed for the souls of their departed officials to rest in peace.
