Edday Nderitu recently confirmed that she has ended her marriage with popular Mugithi singer, Samuel Muchoki, better known as Samidoh.
The couple’s relationship faced turmoil when it was revealed in early 2021 that the musician was involved with politician Karen Nyamu.
The public disclosure of Samidoh’s romantic involvement with Karen Nyamu caused friction in their marriage, leading Edday to make the difficult decision to leave.
Edday expressed her discontent with the marriage arrangement that Samidoh had subjected her to and clarified that she is not in any polygamous marriage.
She made it clear that she left her husband for the well-being of her children and herself, stating that their union had become toxic, and she couldn’t bear the situation any longer.
Relocating to the United States of America (USA) with her children a few months ago, Edday revealed that the tumultuous environment was particularly affecting her eldest child. Concerned about her teenager’s well-being, she took the brave step of removing her children from the toxic situation.
Despite the challenges, Edday has managed to support her children on her own without any assistance from their father. She expressed no regrets about her decision and remains committed to providing for her kids’ needs independently.
Now focused on finding peace and tranquility in her life, Edday emphasized that she desires to stay away from any future drama that may arise between Samidoh and Karen Nyamu.
With a new chapter unfolding in her life, she seeks to distance herself from any unnecessary controversies and aims to focus solely on her own well-being and that of her children.
