Lawyer Cliff Ombeta sets internet ablaze, ready to Represent Man who Slapped French President Emmanuel Macron

Prominent Kenyan born criminal lawyer Cliff Ombeta yesterday set the internet a blaze following his response to viral video of a man who slapped French President Emmanuel Macron approaching him for greetings.

This is after churchill show owner Daniel Ndambuki shared the video of the man, thereby informing Ombeta that his services were urgently needed in France to represent the man.

In his viral post accompanied with the video of the man in green T-shirt slapping Macron, Churchill stated that someone had adjusted the President’s mask and he was needed in France.

“Cliff Ombeta urgently needed in France…someone has adjusted the president’s mask..!!” Churchill joked to which Ombeta responded: “Ni visa ndio najaribu kupata bro” loosely translated to ” I am trying to look for a visa brother.”

While responding to the viral video, Ombeta not that he was only looking for a visa to go and represent the man in Court.

The slapping incident that left many in awe took place while President Macron visited the Drome region in south-eastern France, where he met restaurateurs and students.

Ombeta’s hilarious remarks tickled netizens online, with many camping on Twitter as they shared their thoughts on how the High Court advocate would approach the case in the man’s defense.

@jesang Opined: “The president’s face accidentally came in contact with a civilian’s hand.”

@alouispierry: Read more: opening statement: The president put his face on the client’s hand while he was doing his normal routine workout.”

“I express my strong condemnation of @EmmanuelMacron for using his face as a weapon against the hand of an innocent citizen. French citizens have a right to defend themselves against such shocking and unjustified aggressions.” Ali Abunimah.

This comes just months after Lawyer Ombeta recently represented former Sports CS Rashid Echesa in case where slapped an IEBC official in an almost similar manner.

During the Court sessions Ombeta smartly argued that Echesa was merely adjusting the officers mask and not slapping him as was taken out of context.
