Kipchumba Murkomen trolled for his mockery on Atwoli’s sidelining at the Madaraka day celebrations

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen set the internet ablaze following his mockery on the COTU boss after being sidelined at the yesterday’s Madaraka day celebrations in Kisumu.

The COTU secretary general has always been a notable figure on a number of National celebrations with yesterday’s missing in action when the handshake duo graced the occasion raising eyebrows.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, the firebrand legislator joked of the unionist missing out in Kisumu to guard his recent controversial Kileleshwa road signage recently done in his honor by the Nairobi City County.

“SC @ahmednasirlaw is it true that Francis Atwoli skipped Madaraka day celebrations to guard his sign post in Nairobi.?”.

This attarcted numerous reactions from the netizens with some finding it humorous while others terming it a childish joke taken too far.

Simiyu Ibrahim disagreed with Murkomen writing: “This is childsh it doesn’t ensue humour.I can’t find it comic neither being hilarious”.

“Those who removed you from power didn’t prepare you to face life of idleness…… Senator , you can do better than kufuata maneno ya wazee .” Wrote Okoth Ochola.

“Very Childish Tweet” Slammed Victor Mochoge.
“Weh inakuuma wapi ama wewe ndio umepewa kazi ulinde hio chuma ya Atwoli” Fired Brian Korir.

“You should be above this, imagine if Ruto made it to presidency you can be part of inner cycle then this will be your reasoning, I pity Kenyans past 2022 will be worst that Uhuru presidency.” Fired Mary.

Last week the trade unionist made headlines after he got the formerly Dikdik road named after him in honor of his exemplary service to the Kenyan workers only for goons to vandalize the road sign.

The Nairobi City County government under governor Kananu’s leadership reinstalled the road with Awoli taking to social media shortly afterwards with a warning post that read:

“If you think you came from the moon go try to remove it again”.
