Moses Kuria takes Amos Kimunya head on over BBI misconduct

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria took a jibe at the National Assembly majority leader and Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya after his summon over misconduct during the Building Bridges Initiative vote.

This is after the legislator together with his Kiharu and Nyali counterparts Ndindi Nyoro and Mohamed Ali were summed over their disparaging remarks to their colleagues who voted in support of the BBI bill.

Taking to his social media account, the DP Ruto ardent supporter revealed that he had been bribed by the former finance minister a number of times, but will never go against his conscience.

He went a head to add that he was in no way liable for the legislator’s agreement to be bought for a mere 100, 000 to vote in support of the bill.

Dear Amos Kimunya. You can name me. My mother Mwihaki the Great named me Kiarie. My priest the late Fr Francis Wanyoike named me Moses. Who the hell do you think you are? If Honourable Members decide to prostitute for a mere 100K what do I have to do with it? I have eaten your 100K enough times but I will never betray my conscience, PUGA!!” wrote Kuria.

The trio have been summoned to appear before the National Assembly Chambers tomorrow Thursday 13 May 2021, after their allegations that those who voted YES were bribed with 100,000 shillings.

Moses Kuria whistle blew that “MPs voting yes currently receiving their Sh100,000 from the office of a senior parliamentary leader.” On May 6, 2021 when the voting process was underway.

This prompted the National Assembly majority leader Amos Kiunya and other leaders to call for immediate action against all who made the allegations.

It is horrible to insinuate that for MPs to vote in a sudden direction, they do for inducements from a certain leader of the House. We need to take serious action. Kuria should be named. And all those in his coattails should follow as they exit the house,” Kimunya said.
