Comedian Akuku Danger has been locked out of his house in Rongai in Kajiado County due to accumulated rent arrears.
The comedian had claimed that the lockdowns and curfews had affected him terribly and pleaded with President Uhuru Kenyatta to unlock the country.
Through a phone interview, Akuku revealed that Covid-19 pandemic has affected his work for the past few months to the extent of being thrown out of his house by his landlord due to rent arrears.
This comes after a video of the comedian being vacated violently was circulated on social media on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

”Since lockdown and curfew started in 2020, many people have been suffering. I am among those people. There were no shows and most avenues that were there were blocked. Yes I had rent arrears and what you saw is true, it was not an April Fools Day prank.” Akuku said.

His challenges was not taken seriously by many Kenyans who had assumed that it was just April Fools Day pranks.
The Churchill Show comedian urged the president to relax some of the COVID-19 restrictions to support many Kenyans who are facing the same challenges.
