Moses Kuria revisits ODM’s commitment to the BBI and handshake with scathing remarks

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria once again took a swipe at the ODM party and the current BBI scenario likening their yesterday’s Karen meeting to a sabotage move.

In what appears as a breach of promise, Kuria took to Social media hinting at the possibility of a monetary gain between the two handshake partners President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Kuria went ahead to suggest the introduction of automatic payment to the party’s account to avoid cases of jeopardy arising from the delayed payments of the deal.

“Yet again I wonder why ODM threats of quitting the BBI and handshake reappear every other end month. Cant, we make the remittance a standing order to avoid putting the country and businesses on a monthly uncertainty?

RAILA convenes a meeting of ODM party leadership; reiterates commitment to BBI and handshake with President Kenyatta.” Wrote Moses Kuria.

This comes just weeks after the vocal lawmaker had on March 7, 2021, made similar remarks where he connected the then unfolding events with the same alleged payments.

Moses was alluding to the push for the payment, that prompted the organized Kibra rally and its subsequent cancellation as a result of the payment.

“I stand with Baba. His monthly BBI funds transfer is supposed to reflect on the last day of every month. Today is the 7th. What did you expect? Any way glad this was amicably sorted this morning and we are now good. #KibrarallyCancelled” Reiterated Moses earlier in the month.

The Tanga Tanga legislator has been on the record with negative remarks about the BBI and the handshake, having profiled Counties in the month of February for having passed, or on the verge of passing the bill.
